The Monthly Meet Up!!

It's another month - one of my favorite months of the year - so it's time for another Monthly Meet Up!!

But first, I need to wish a very happy happy birthday to my blogging (and real life) partner-in-crime, Marie!  She's such an amazing friend, awesome mommy, hilarious gal, and just a wonderful person.  So glad that we forced a friendship on each other ;)  Happy Birthday!!

I am SO lucky to call you one of my best friends!!!  Love you, girl!!

On to our par-tay!!!!

On the first of every month, birthday girl Marie, over at Family and the Lake House, and I get together every month to host a fun link-up party.  We want to know - what are your goals for the month of April?  Big, small, it doesn't matter.  Your goals could be any and everything.  Maybe you want to cut out fast food, keep a clean kitchen, exercise more, not go shopping, organize your pantry, etc.  The possibilities are endless!

You can be as ambitious as you like - maybe you only have one goal for the month, maybe you have 10.  Just join us and have fun!

First, a little recap from March's goals:

1.  Begin Spring Cleaning.  Ummmm.....well....okay, so I didn't exactly start spring cleaning yet.  BUT, I did clean both the kids bedrooms and most of the rest of the house before we left for vacation.  Sooooo.....that counts, right!?!?  (And, trust me, you'd let it count if you saw little Miss Ashlyn's room before and after.  Sheesh!).

2.  Be Good(ish) on Vacation.  You guys.  YOU GUYS!  I am seriously so proud of myself for this one.  Sure, I indulged here and there.  I mean, it was vacation after all, but I really put forth effort to get workouts in and eat (mostly) healthy while we were away.  All this is mainly thanks to my hubby who has so much willpower and helps me stay focused.  We even went for a run together one afternoon.  

3.  Enjoy our Vacation.  Check. Check. CHECK!  What an amazing trip!  Lots of sun, laughs, playing, memories, and fun was had.  Stay tuned for a recap post!

Get back to my workout routine.

We just got back from vacation today and Redmond is on Spring Break next week.  These are no excuses to not get my ass to the gym, back to eating the way I was before vacation and keep losing these pounds and inches!

Begin my 35th year with a great birthday!

I will be turning 35 towards the end of the month.  Eek!!  My birthday is on a Saturday this year and I want to find something fun to do to ring in my 35th year :)

Garden Prepping

It's almost my favorite time of the year - garden time!!!  We have some big plans for our garden/yard this year and I can't wait to share all of them with you!  We'll want to get everything in the ground the beginning of May so we have got to get the garden tilled and ready for planting.

And there we go!  April is one of my favorite months of the year - can't wait to see all the awesome things that will happen this month!!
