It's October! How did that happen!? The air is cooler, the leaves are falling and summer is done. We've been getting outside and enjoying the weather - it's been gorgeous here in Michigan!

One of my besties and I host this every month. We've changed it up and are now focusing on monthly goals. So please join Marie and I and come party with us!
Seriously, I love this girl. We have so much fun together!!

I got to tag along with my mother-in-law and a few of her friends to a fancy dinner with and Jason's grandma (Meme). Great company, conversation and lemon martinis! Cheers!! 🍸

Redmond wanted to pull the wagon and fill it with walnuts. This is, by far, a fall chore both Jason and I loathe. Him and Ashlyn had a grand ol' time filling the wagon!
Knock yourselves out, kids!

Oliver.
This dog cracks me up! Whenever we put the chickens in their mobile shelter, he just lays in front of it. He'll stay there for a good 30 minutes at a time. #hejustwantstoplay

Now that fall is here, that means soup and chili! I've already made my first pot of chili for the season...another favorite is my Tuscan Ravioli Soup. I whipped this up last night and it did not disappoint. It's so filling, delicious and healthy! Bonus - I got to use broth and tomatoes that I canned myself. Yay!!
Until next time,
Short and sweet this week! Hope you're all having a great week with gorgeous fall weather. Happy weekending!!
Until next time,

Hi Sara,
ReplyDeleteYour dog is so cute wanting to play with the chickens. I have a cousin who has chickens and we all thought her dog would attack them, but she loves running around with them and playing with them. Like you I am so happy for chili and soup weather, I think I am going to be breaking out the crock pot this weekend! I am going to have to try your ravioli soup recipe, I make one that is not healthy haha I love this healthier version!
Have a great weekend!
Awww. Love the dog and chickens together. And what great walnut-picker-uppers you have!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for linking up with us for H54F!
